Renzo Honores, Assistant Professor of History
Licentiate in Law, Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru; Master in Civil Law, Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru; Ph.D., Florida International University

Professor Honores is a Latin American Historian, with research and practical experience in law.

He joined the faculty the Fall of 2008, to teach Latin American and Western Civilization courses.

Gabriel Loiacono, Visiting Asst. Professor of History

B.A., University of California, Berkeley; Ph.D., Brandeis University

Professor Loiacono specializes in the history of poverty in the United States between independence and the New Deal. He will teach courses in American history.

Dr. Philip N. Mulder, Associate Professor of History

B.A., Calvin College; M.A. and Ph.D., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Professor Mulder teaches the history of early America and the American revolutionary era in addition to survey courses. He directs senior seminar projects in these fields and in cultural and religious history, his academic specialty.

Dr. Paul B. Ringel, Assistant Professor of History

A.B., Princeton University; J.D., Boston College; Ph.D., Brandeis University

Professor Ringel specializes in the cultural and intellectual history of 19th century America. In addition to US History surveys, he teaches on the Civil War and American legal history.

Dr. Ringle is co-advisor for the University chapter of Amnesty Intl.
