History
Major to Hold Reception
for Majors and Alums (April
2006). The Department of History invites all
History majors and alumni from its day and evening programs to gather
on Sunday, April 2 at 2:30pm in the New Conference Room of the Slane
Campus Center. The reception will recognize the seventh year that we
have offered the history major in the Evening Degree Program; congratulate
Dr. Dennis Carroll, who shortly will assume the position of Vice
President for Academic Affairs; and introduce Dr. Paul Ringel, the
Department's newest faculty member. In addition to giving alumni an
opportunity to meet our current majors and catch up with faculty, this
event gives us a chance to share some exciting news about the
department's graduate degree plans.
