Legislators, Media Correspondents, and Political Observers to Exchange
Ideas in Conference Forum (March
2006) As part
of the annual meeting of the North Carolina Political Science
Association, High Point University will host a discussion featuring
several prominent NC political experts on Friday, March 31 in the
Hayworth Fine Arts Center at 2:15 p.m. Invited speakers include:
Professor Thad Beyle of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill,
John Hood of the John Locke Foundation in Raleigh, Senator Stan
Bingham (R) of the N.C. S enate,
Representative Paul Luedke (D) of the N.C. House, Jack Betts of the Charlotte
Observer and Rob Christensen of the Raleigh News and Observer.
High Point assistant professor of political science, James
Corey, will serve as the panel moderator.
