Oscillations -- Spring
The animation below shows the motion of an object connected to an ideal spring. If the net force on the object is due solely to the force of the spring on the object, then its motion is called simple harmonic motion.
The period of an oscillation is defined as a the time interval for one complete oscillation.
Do an experiment to determine how the spring constant, k, affects the period and how the mass of the object affects the period.
